FEBS is pleased to announce the launch of the FEBS Research Academy webpage, a dedicated space to discover the Academy, its ambitions and, in particular, the scientists who make up its community of Founding Members.
The FEBS Research Academy has recently been established as a prestigious body to advance FEBS initiatives in support of scientific excellence and innovation, the next generation of researchers, and the international voice of science. Bringing together leading scientists across Europe and beyond, the Academy creates a broad pool of expertise spanning the molecular life sciences, interdisciplinary research and wider challenges affecting the research ecosystem and society.
The webpage offers a closer look at the vision, mission and objectives of the FEBS Research Academy, alongside a directory of its 100 Founding Members.
Visitors can explore individual member profiles to discover their institutions, research areas, expertise and scientific backgrounds, providing a window into the breadth of knowledge represented across the Academy.
Together, these profiles reveal the diversity of disciplines, perspectives and experience that the FEBS Research Academy brings together, and the scientific community that will help provide strategic insight to FEBS in the years ahead.
FEBS will formally mark the establishment of the FEBS Research Academy with an inauguration ceremony at the next FEBS Congress, taking place in Riga, Latvia, from 3 to 7 July 2027.
