Applications are now open for the 26th FEBS Young Scientists’ Forum (YSF 2027), taking place from 1–3 July 2027 in Pärnu, Estonia, ahead of the 51st FEBS Congress in Riga, Latvia (3–7 July 2027).

The FEBS Young Scientists’ Forum brings together PhD students and early-career researchers from across the molecular life sciences to share their research, exchange ideas and build international connections.

The three-day event will feature scientific lectures, oral and poster presentations, career development sessions and opportunities to interact with established scientists and fellow early-career researchers. Participants will then travel to Riga to attend the FEBS Congress.

  • Registration fees for both the YSF and the FEBS Congress.
  • Shared accommodation during both events.
  • Up to 80% of travel costs, to a maximum of €350.

In addition, IUBMB will support two young researchers from countries outside the FEBS area, with financial assistance towards registration, accommodation and travel.
