News from our Constituent Societies
The Constituent Societies of FEBS vary in size and scope, but many offer activities and events for molecular life scientists that may be of interest to bioscientists throughout the FEBS community. Announcements of such activities or other relevant news can be displayed in the News section of the FEBS website, where the postings will be assigned to the sortable category 'Societies News'.
Guidelines for 'Societies News' postings on the FEBS websit
• All FEBS Constituent Societies can make Societies News postings (up to two per year)
• Postings must be of interest to scientists throughout the FEBS community
• Postings should be a maximum of 300 words, and should normally include contact details and a url for more information
• The information should be sent by email to the FEBS webmaster, stating 'news posting' in the subject line.
In addition to postings in the main news section of the website, our Constituent Societies can post items in the 'News from Constituent Societies of FEBS' channel of the FEBS Network. Furthermore, Constituent Society events can be simply listed in brief in the FEBS website's Conference Calendar, and advertisements for academic positions can be posted on our Career Opportunities page.
The FEBS magazine FEBS News also provides a forum in its 'FEBS Community News' section for reporting important or unusual society news, such as anniversary plans. Please contact the FEBS News Editor via the Contact Us section of the website with details of proposed articles.
