Second call for 2018 FEBS Advanced Courses proposals: apply by 1 July
The budget of FEBS for supporting its Advanced Courses programme has been significantly increased, and we are now inviting proposals from expert scientists in a second call this year for events that will run in 2018. The deadline for applications is 1 July 2017.
FEBS Advanced Courses take place throughout the area of Europe and neighbouring regions on important and timely topics in the molecular life sciences – in the form of Advanced Lecture Courses, Joint FEBS–EMBO Lecture Courses, Workshops, Practical Courses, combined Practical and Lecture Courses, and Special Meetings. Most Advanced Courses in 2018 can be funded by FEBS with up to €35,000 (up to €25,000 course grant + up to €10,000 for Youth Travel Fund (YTF) grants to assist participation of young researchers); for Special Meetings the funding is €40,000 course grant + up to €15,000 for YTF grants. Arranging such an event provides organizers with great opportunities for outreach, networking and impact in their chosen field.
