IUBMB–FEBS–PABMB Young Scientists’ Forum 2022: apply by 15 December 2021
The IUBMB–FEBS–PABMB Young Scientists' Forum (YSF) 2022 will take place at Vimeiro, Portugal, from 6th to 9th July 2022.
As a satellite meeting of the IUBMB–FEBS–PABMB Congress 2022, the YSF will bring together around 120 talented postdocs and PhD students from across the world who are working in the molecular and cellular biosciences. The gathering – organized by young scientists for young scientists – enables participants to present their scientific results, discuss ideas and get to know each other in a friendly international atmosphere, before moving on to the larger Congress. In addition to presentations from the participants, there will be keynote lectures, advice and information on career-related issues, and a social program.
FEBS will financially support participation of successful YSF applicants from FEBS countries in both the YSF and the ensuing Congress, via YSF grants.
Full details of the eligibility criteria and the link to apply are on the YSF applications page. Applicants must submit an abstract to the YSF and Congress as first author. Applicants for FEBS YSF grants also need to be a member of a FEBS Constituent Society – that is, one of the national biochemistry and molecular biology societies that make up FEBS, which are listed in the Our Members section of the FEBS website. (Applicants from outside the FEBS area may be eligible for grants from IUBMB and PABMB at the YSF 2022; consult the YSF applications page for full details.)
YSF applications must be made through the Congress registration system, selecting the YSF Applicant option, by 15th December 2021. Registration and abstract submission are open!
